No improvement
INESSSINESSS
No improvement, or worsening of symptoms and signs, after 72 h of treatment suggests a change of antibiotic or hospitalization according to the severity of the pneumonia.
If fever persists more than 48 to 72 hours after the start of treatment, or if there is clinical deterioration: reassess the patient and repeat the radiograph to look for complications that would require hospitalization.
